Welcome

Grace Lutheran School offers a tradition of excellence in Lutheran education. Exceptional academics for students in preschool, elementary, middle school from grades PreK2 – 8th within a nurturing religious environment. Grace Lutheran enrolls preschool and kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students from Salt Lake City, Holladay, Sandy, Draper, Park City, Utah County and throughout the Wasatch front.

Grace Lutheran School is a ministry of Grace Lutheran Church.  The school has been in operation since 1984.  The school joins in reaching out to the community and connecting people to Christ as Lord and Savior.

We are dedicated to equipping each student to attain the highest standards scholastically, socially and spiritually.  Many parents can attest to the level of excellence and spiritual awareness that have made Grace Lutheran School the quality academic institution it is today.  Since we view the school as an extension of the parents’ authority and influence, we work in partnership with parents in the vital work of shaping each child’s life.

Grace Lutheran School offers a quality education for children aged 2 through the 8th grade with a traditional, basic curriculum that educates the whole child.  Music, Art, Sports and Computer classes further enhance that education.  Extended care is also offered for students grades K-8th grade.

We would love to introduce ourselves and let you see our wonderful school with a personal tour. Grace Lutheran School is open every school day for visits.  Our staff welcomes the opportunity to have you come and see our school in action.

Contact our school office if you would like to schedule a personal Campus Tour at 801-572-3793 or email: school@gracesandy.org.

We are proud that Grace Lutheran School is accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Association and serves the Sandy and greater Salt Lake Valley area as a viable and alternative education for all children and their families in grades PreK2 through 8th grade. We provide an excellent education through:

  • Small Class Sizes
  • Safe and Nurturing Community
  • Challenging Curriculum focused on preparing students for the “next level” in mind, body, and spirit
  • Vibrant and Dedicated Faculty and Staff
  • Full-Day Kindergarten
  • Full Music Program
  • Competitive Athletic Program
  • Before and After School Care
  • Affordable Tuition with Financial Aid available for all families seeking a Christian Education

Our students are involved with many activities, both in and out of the classroom, during the school year. Through classroom field trips, school visits from children’s authors and illustrators from around the country, full array of athletic and musical offerings, and learning about service organizations that our school supports through chapel offerings throughout the year, our students not only connect to one another and apply their learning to their community, but also realize the importance they have on the world we all live in. At Grace, we proclaim, connect and grow with one another and the community and world we live in.
