Grace Lutheran Girls Basketball invited to attend Halftime Exhibition

Grace Lutheran School's Girls Basketball team was invited to play an exhibition game during the Utah vs BYU women's game on December 10th. On Friday night, our Grace Lutheran players and parents had an amazing evening watching the Utes game and had a chance to visit with the Lady Ute players.

Our Grace girls were given a special congratulations by Mayor Biskupski who supported their playing efforts at the halftime show.

Grace Lutheran School's Volleyball C Team Starts with a Solid Foundation

Grace Lutheran's Volleyball 'C' team has been a thrill to watch! Starting last season Coach Rebecca Matson has been introducing our Grace Lutheran students to the volleyball game and team sports. Starting in 4th grade, Grace Lutheran students get to participate in competitive sports.

"These girls really put their heart into these games," a proud Grace Lutheran parent says. "They practice four days a week running drills, strength training, teamwork and they can't get enough of it!"

Coach Matson instills a strong foundation of sportsmanship and grace in each player and pushes each teammate to give it their best even when they are falling behind.

Competitive sports give Middle School students the opportunity to develop their athletic skills and learn invaluable lessons about teamwork.

Grace Lutheran School competes in the prestigious Middle School Wasatch Athletic Conference WAC which includes top ranking private schools in the Wasatch area including: Waterford School, Rowland Hall, Intermountain Christian School, The McGillis School, Christ Lutheran School, St Josephs, Layton Christian Academy. For more information on the WAC League go to

Grace Lutheran School Performing Arts Partnership with Up-With-Kids

Grace Lutheran School Students have the opportunity to enroll in the extracurricular performing arts program at Grace Lutheran School. In partnership with Up With Kids, Grace students learn the All Star acting program. Scripts are tailored to accommodate the students, ensuring that every child is cast in their own unique role with speaking lines and a personality to develop.

Audition techniques are taught, but auditions are never held for our productions. We promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork rather than competition.  The All Star acting approach promotes a positive experience for every student, where confidence and self-esteem are developed through involvement in the performing arts.

Sandy and West Jordan Director Nancy Scott has been an Up With Kids Director for 25 years. Nancy studied opera with a private Italian coach, performed as a soloist for the international Up With People cast. Please visit the Up With Kids website for more information and register for the 2016 program.
